We have always heard of a gaming laptop or a gaming computer, how about a gaming smartphone? Well, until yesterday, there was nothing called a gaming smartphone. Razer, a company with a famous name in the gaming world has taken the step and launched a gaming smartphone. The Razer Phone looks like an absolute beast with the specifications and features it has to offer. Razer is trying to defy all the odds here with the new powerful smartphone. It has incredible hardware packed inside a solid body.

Back in 2015, Razer acquired Robin, the company behind the Nextbit smartphone. Robin closed down and ended the support for the Nextbit smartphone. This was a crowdfunded company and it couldn’t carry along with the users. Razer acquired it for good and the new Razer phone looks like a result of that acquisition that happened back in 2015. In fact, the Razer Phone’s design is much similar to that of the Nextbit Robin. The difference here is, the Razer phone is an all anodized aluminum square while the Nextbit was a total plastic handset. Let’s look and analyze the spec-sheet of the Razer Phone now.

The Razer Cortex technology has somewhat made its way to the smartphone in the form of Razer Game Booster.
