CyanogenMod [CM 10.2] Nightlies Released, Taste the Unofficial Android 4.3

The well known Android Hackers & Modifiers CyanogenMod team has released their new Nightlies – CM 10.2 based on Android 4.3. This has been a quite fast move as it isn’t been long since Google released Android 4.3.

People who can’t get the OTA updates / official roms for their phones anytime soon, they can taste the features of Anroid 4.3 by manually flashing the CM 10.2 Nightly in their phones, but flashing a nightly is a bit of more risk as the nightly version isn’t complete and unstable and the developments are made on daily basis until a stable version takes place. It is good for those who like to play with their phones every second day.

As this is a fresh release, only a few devices are supported at the moment e.g [ Samsung Galaxy SII, SIII, S IV (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular), Galaxy Note II(T-Mobile, AT&T,GSM LTE,)Galaxy Note(Intl, AT&T, T-Mobile), Google Nexus 4, Google Nexus 10, HTC One(GSM,Sprint, AT&T,T-Mobile), Google Galaxy Nexus , Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 (Wi-Fi),Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Wi-Fi), Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 (GSM), Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (GSM), Sony Xperia Zl, Google Galaxy Nexus (Verizon), Motorola Droid Razr ], Find & Download for your phone here.

Make sure that you select a right nightly for your phone carefully. If the nightly isn’t available for your phone at the moment you may not have to wait for so long as the CyanogenMod team is pretty active on Android Development. The better choice at the moment will be CM 10.1 as it is a stable rom and available for most of the smartphones. You can check CyanogenMod’s official website for a version to download for yourself.

As the time passes by and developments boostup, a stable version of the CM 10.2 will be available as well. CyanogenMod has proved out to be helpful for the people who want to enjoy the features of a high end device’s operating system on a small phone, it has also improved the performance of the phones which do not get anymore official updates or which have been ignored by the manufacturers.

We’ll keep updating you, and provide you guides to flash the CM 10.2 Nightlies as soon as a stable version appears. Feel free to leave your feedback.
