As we already know that HTC has been promising an amazing camera experience in its upcoming flagship in order to make up for the criticism they faced due to HTC One M9’s camera. The Taiwanese company was one of the first to introduce Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) in its rear camera, however now, the company will apparently be THE FIRST company to feature OIS in the front facing camera of its smartphone.
An internationally recognized photographer, Kisha Bari, sent a tweet via her official account which, allegedly, featured his own selfie using the OIS selfie camera of the HTC 10. Unfortunately for the photographer, the Twitter account has now been banned. Check out the tweet below:
HTC has been teasing its flagship’s camera, audio capability and design for quite some time now. Well guys, the company added ‘battery life’ to the list. HTC posted another video on its official twitter account under the same “we’re obsessed” theme which boasted about the battery performance of the upcoming handset. The company claims that their engineers are working “crazy long hours” just to make sure that “your phone will too”. In addition to that, their obsession to enhance battery life was so much that “they’ve turned it into a science”. On the other hand, various leaks and benchmarks are claiming that the HTC 10 will host a 3000 mAh battery, identical to the one featured in Galaxy S7. We’ll have to wait and see what the company has done to make the phone work long hours.

Apart from the above mentioned teasers, a new leaked image has been outed by the well known Chinese blogger, Weibo. The leaked picture is of white variant of the upcoming HTC 10 which is running a Chinese software on it. Note that we have received leaks featuring a similar software on another Chinese unit.

Let’s have a look at the leaked/rumored specifications of the HTC 10 so far. Reportedly, the device will be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which will definitely make it a worthy competitor of the other major flagships by tech giants like Samsung and LG. HTC 10 will be unveiled with a 5.2-Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 5 display, fingerprint scanner embedded inside a home button, a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera combined with dual-tone LED flash, wireless charging, 3000mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of expandable memory. Needless to say the smartphone will be running the latest Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 which comes with new features like Google Now on Tap, Doze and a completely redesigned app icons.
The flagship’s unveiling is promised on April 12 at 8AM EST. We can all but hope to see HTC fulfilling the long list of claims made via teasers. Stay tuned for the latest news.
