As the dust from the Mobile World Congress announcement settles, all eyes are on Samsung’s upcoming S-series flagship. Samsung will be unveiling Galaxy S8 on Mrach 29 in New York. With just a few days to go till the official announcements, the frequency of the leaks and updates is catching momentum. To date we have seen different renders, alleged live images of the device in black and white colors and even short videos of the device leak.  Newly leaked images of the device show the black variants of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ side by side which give us a very good idea of what the devices will look like and how the two variants are different.

Samsung this time around is equipping both of its variants with a dual curved display, so there will be no Edge moniker device. The only difference between the two variants will be the display size with Galaxy S8 featuring a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display and Galaxy S8+ featuring a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display. Both the devices seen in the image have a dual curved display and only differ in their size. In addition, there is no home button and this has given way to an increased screen-to-body ratio and slim bezels which Samsung is naming as the ‘Infinity Display‘.

The smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and Exynos 8895 chipset for some markets, paired with a 4GB RAM. Both the processors are made using the 10nm process fabrication process and the production of this chipset is not satisfactory and this is one of the reasons that Samsung had to delay the announcement. Both Galaxy S8 and S8+ will have Samsung’s ow AI assistant Bixby on board.

The global release of the smartphone is set for April 28 which has been pushed one week ahead. With just a few weeks to go we will be looking at more leaks in the coming days, in the meanwhile have your fill with these images.
