AT&T puts an end to the various leaks and rumors by officially announcing that they will be launching their version of Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 on May 6.
Apparently, one can get their hands on the J3 2016 via AT&T’s Next 24 installment plan. All you have to do is agree to pay $5.67 per month for 30 months and you can get your unit after it is launched on May 6.
Samsung Galaxy J3 was released this January and sports a 5.0 inch 720×1280 pixels display. The smartphone features a 8MP 1080p rear shooter while a 5MP front facing camera is also available. J3 comes with two different internal storage variants – 8 GB and 16 GB, both of which are expandable via microSD card. The 7.9mm thick handset weighs 138 grams and hosts 1.5 GB of RAM and 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.
Last but not the least, Galaxy J3 2016 will come out of the box with pre-installed Android v5.1.1.
Unfortunately, AT&T will launch the smartphone with just one color option – white. Note that Virgin and Boost Mobile are already selling the J3 2016 in US since it was launched back in January.
