The Cupertino giant, Apple, announced its 4 inch iPhone SE and 9.7 inch iPad on March 21. Apple promised to ship the first batch of newly released devices on March 31, well apparently they stayed true to their commitment. As of now, the new iPhone SE and iPad 9.7 are being shipped to the customers who had placed pre-orders.
Note that Apple made the devices available for preorder ( for selective markets ) shortly after the unveiling. However, a long list of countries were added later on. Moreover, both of the gadgets are available for purchase on Apple Retail Stores along with some 3rd party sellers.
The iPhone SE will feature a 4 inch 1136 x 640 pixel resolution Retina display. These amount of resolutions provide a pixel density of 326 ppi. The smartphone will feature a Apple A9 chip with a dual core 1.85 GHz processor coupled with PowerVR GT7600 six-core graphics. Moreover, the iPhone SE will come with a new feature called Retina Flash. This feature allows the screen of the iPhone to become 3x brighter than normal to provide a Flash like affect, therefore you can take better selfies in low light conditions. The 9.7 inch iPad Pro will come standard ins pace gray, silver, gold, and rose gold color options. The 9.7″ iPad Pro’s A9X chip comes coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It hosts 12 graphics cores with 1 teraflop of processing power. The all new iPad also carries a M9 motion co-processor to assist ‘Hey Siri’. Needless to say, it’ll support the Apple Pencil and Smart keyboard. The pressure and tilt sensitive layer in the screen allows palm and finger rejection while you are using the Apple Pencil. Moving on to the new True-Tone display of the 9.7″ iPad Pro. The screen features an Oxide TFT display with 2048 x 2732 pixel resolution. With the help of the new iOS 9.3, the all new iPad supports a new feature called Night Shift. Apart from that, new ambient sensors have been added to the device which allow the display to match the color temperatures of the surroundings. This display delivers 40% less reflection while provides 25% brighter screen. Moreover the iPad comes standard with four speaker system. In addition to that, a 12-megapixel rear iSight camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing FaceTime camera with the new Retina Flash feature will be available on the device.
