Apple preparing three flexible display sizes for its Apple iWatch

Apple-mulling-three-flexible-display-sizes-for-its-iWatch-1.5-prototype-already-in-the-lab

Apple seems to be testing flexible OLED displays for its iWatch, which makes it easier to guess that Apple is getting the displays manufactured either by LG or by Samsung, being aware that both can now make flexible displays.

Returns from this technology are very low, and this might be one reason to why we haven’t been seeing flexible smartphones lately.(Not counting the Youm prototypes)

According to the publication, Apple is manufacturing 1.3″, 1.4″ and 1.5″ sizes of the upcoming iWatch. “A prototype of 1.5″ display has already been made”, says a source.

The iWatch has been developed in cooperation with health and fitness experts so it is mean to be an accessory to your iOS device that would do more than just notifying.
