Amidst the rumors about iPhone 8, the company has just launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in red color. We did hear rumors about the device and now it is official. These products are a part of the Red-branded Apple devices and this is the first time the company has showcased a red iPhone.

Through red colored iPhone 7 and iPhone 7S the company is continuing its support for Global Fund for AIDS research. Tim Cook says that through this the consumers get to directly contribute towards a worthy cause.

Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products…The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands’.

The design of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in red is similar to the one seen last year. There are no major changes. iPhone 7 will be priced at $749 and iPhone 7 Plus will retail at $869. The devices will be available for order on March 24th on the Apple Store. Consumers getting the mobile will be directly contributing to the AIDS research fund.
