Apple iPhone SE officially announced

Minutes ago Apple officially announced the all new Apple iPhone SE with a 4″ RETINA display. As reported earlier, the smartphone will feature a Apple A9 chip with a dual core 1.85 GHz processor coupled with PowerVR GT7600 six-core graphics.

iPhone SE features a similar design to the iPhone 5s, however the Home button has been enhanced with the addition of Touch ID and Apple Pay support. Apart from that, rest of the smartphone offers exactly similar dimensions as of the iPhone 5s tough it weighs just 113 grams.

The iPhone SE will feature a 4 inch 1136 x 640 pixel resolution Retina display. These amount of resolutions provide a pixel density of 326 ppi. Moreover, the iPhone SE will come with a new feature called Retina Flash. This feature allows the screen of the iPhone to become 3x brighter than normal to provide a Flash like affect, therefore you can take better selfies in low light conditions.


Apart from that the iPhone will come standard with 12MP iSight camera, similar to the one is found on Apple iPhone 6s. Moreover, as rumored, the smartphone will feature 4K video recording.

Surprisingly this iPhone SE will start from just $399 for a 16GB of internal storage while the 64GB variant will be available for $499. You can Pre-orders starting from March 24, while the official sale will commence on March 31st.

Unfortunately we wont we getting the 3D Touch feature in the iPhone SE though it will be offered in the new Rose Gold color apart from the standard – Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
