Apple iPhone 7 Plus might feature 256GB of internal storage and dual camera module

You might have heard of the rumors which surfaced as early as January, claiming that the upcoming Cupertino flagship might be featured with a massive 256GB internal storage option. Well guys, recent rumors by @Onleaks are once again suggesting the same. Note that if the rumors are actually true, the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 will have a variant with a storage capacity which is double of the highest capacity available in the current lineup.

The rumors in question had been first outed by Weibo and then retweeted by@OnLeaks. Weibo came up with two different pictures one of which shows the alleged memory chips of Apple iPhone 7. The chips are made by SanDisk NAND and show three different storage options – 16GB, 64GB and 256GB. On the other hand, the second picture is of a dual camera module, supposedly the one destined to be used in the upcoming flagship. Have a look at the images below.

Apart from the rumors mentioned above, we have been hearing reports claiming that LG and Sony will be dividing the task of manufacturing camera modules for the next iPhone between themselves. In addition to that, various sources claim that Optical Image Stabilization will be featured in both the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus. Note that up till now, OIS has been featured in ‘Plus’ models only.
