Apple iPad Pro’s casing leaks, hints at a 12-inch display

Apple racked in a record profit last year by selling 74.5 million devices, the sales graph boost can be credited to the iPhone 6, the company’s take on a bigger display. This move helped them cut into Android’s market of smartphones with big displays and helped get customers back who were not happy with the 4.7-inch display. Following this successful move the company seems to applying the same formula to its other products too. The latest images of a casing of the upcoming iPad Pro can attest to that fact.

NoWhereElse posted these images and it looks as if the company is moving from the current 9.7-inch display to a 12.3-inch or 12.9-inch display. A stylus could also accompany the iPad. Apart from that four cut outs for speaker grills can also seen which indicate that there will be some definite upgrading in the audio section. The reported specifications of the iPad Pro put the device to be ultra-thin, having a width of somewhere between 6.9 mm to 7.5mm. It will be Powered by an A8X processor accompanied by a 2 GB RAM and it will come with different color options.

We do not have a confirmed date of iPad Pro’s release but it will see the light of day either in March or April. Maybe it will be launched along with the Apple Watch which is also supposed to arrive within the same time frame.
