Apple expected to launch new iPads as Apple Store shuts down for a few hours

We have been hearing that Apple will be announcing a slew of iPads somewhere in March. Yesterday the company announced that the online Apple Store will be closed down for a few hours, the speculation was rampant that a new product will be seen.  Right now the Apple Store is down with the message that ‘We’ve got something special in store for you’.

Apple usually shuts down the store when they announce a new product. The company will be launching a 9.7-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a 10.5-inch bezel-less iPad Pro. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be an iterative model with no major updates which the company will be pushing as a ‘budget’ model. The major updates will be pushed to the 10.5 inch iPad Pro.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro model will be powered by the A9 chipset which was used in iPhone 6S. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the 10.5-inch iPad Pro models will be powered by the AX10 chipset. There is a probability that in today’s launch we will not look at new 10.5-inch iPad Pro model and it may arrive next month.

In addition to the iPads we will be looking at a new iPhone SE model with 128GB RAM and a red colored iPhone 7 and iPhone 7S. This will be a new color for the iPhone lineup but lets see which shade and finish has been selected.
