Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be the first flagships that the company will announce after Galaxy Note 7’s discontinuation. Anticipating high demand, Samsung has reportedly doubled the shipment for Galaxy S8 handsets. Apparently the company has upped the order to 40% in comparison to the first shipment of Galaxy S7. This means that Samsung will push out nearly 17 million smartphones in the markets at its initial release, while last year they sent out 12 million Galaxy S7 handsets.

Samsung is eyeing a sales goal for 60 million Galaxy S8 smartphones, which is up as compared to its predecessors. Te Korean giant shipped 48 million units of Galaxy S7 and 45 million units of Galaxy S6. Well the company sure can achieve this goal as the rumored specs and renders seen to date present an impressive device. Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the highly anticipated devices of the year, and after Note 7’s discontinuation, die-had Sammy fans haven’t seen a Samsung flagship after Galaxy S7. So, Galaxy S8 will definitely be a device worth waiting for, with its design changes and specs upgrade.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be announced on 29 March in events held in USA and Europe. To add fuel to fire, Samsung will be showing a promo of the device at the MWC 2017 on 26th February to create more high for the device.
