Have a Break, Have a KitKat. Yup, it’s KitKat time for the smartphones. Sony, HTC, LG, and Samsung unveiled their plans for the KitKat update to their flagships but the missing one Motorola took lead and updated it’s Moto G to the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware. Creates an atmosphere of jealousy, isn’t it? Well, if you’re a Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE owner, you may stop worrying. To fill your appetite the folks over Sammobile have brought up the leak build I9505XXUFNA1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the LTE variant of the Galaxy S4.
Well, this also gives us a sense of receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update anytime soon now. It is expected that Samsung will start rolling out the update officially in February / March 2014, as the news suggested the planned KitKat update in the start of 2014. While the official update is in works, you may install this test build and enjoy the KitKat before it’s actually out. This update is quite stable, and contains minor bugs that may not irritate you at all.

The update packs up minor UI changes. Icons in the notification bar have transformed from the old Gingerbread’s green style to the all new white KitKat style. Of course there are performance enhancements and the benchmark tests have shown an increase in performance as well. Samsung’s stock keyboard has just got better, also Samsung has embed a camera shortcut on the lock screen. There may be a number of changes that you may taste upon installing this leaked firmware.
