Android 4.3 Update Rolling Out For Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 and HTC One

Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 & HTC One owners who might have a fear of getting the newer Android version updates later, may be happy to know that Google has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update for both of the devices.


Just after a week of the new Android Jelly Bean launch, Google has started the OTA updates packed up with a lot of improvements including better stability for the devices, Bluetooth Smart Support, A Smarter Dial Pad, Trim Command and many more listed here.

Including all these enhancements one of the major update is that the IR Blaster now works for the HTC One, using which, the users will be able to use their device as a remote control for the devices like projectors, televisions, dvd players etc.

The 4.3 update has brought changes to the GPe design of the Galaxy S4 & HTC One Google play edition. The update weighs in about 150MB for the GS4 and around 180MB for the HTC One.


To skip any lag and erros, the OTA updates are distributed to the users gradually. The device owners will have to keep a little patience until they get the update.
