Last month HTC released a teaser image which was all about the audio capabilities of the upcoming smartphone. The image featured two speaker grilles which apparently will provide a “new boom”experience to its users. We didn’t saw these grilles in the leaked renders which might be because they weren’t clear enough to be distinguished in the leaked images on which the renders were based. Today, HTC released the first ever video teaser for the HTC 10 which claims that we should expect “the best BoomSound yet“. Fortunately, this time the teaser is thirty-nine second video which provides far more information than the previously released teaser image.

The above video is based on the “we’re obsessed” promotional tagline which is being used by HTC to market their upcoming flagship. HTC claims that the HTC 10 will come with “bright, fat and crisp” sound with “the highest quality sound possible.” The company promises “flawless high fidelity on you phone” via “the best BoomSound yet.”
Let’s have a look at the leaked/rumored specifications of the HTC 10 so far. Reportedly, the device will be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which will definitely make it a worthy competitor of the other major flagships by tech giants like Samsung and LG. HTC 10 will be unveiled with a 5.2-Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 5 display, fingerprint scanner embedded inside a home button, a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera combined with dual-tone LED flash, wireless charging, 3000mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of expandable memory. Needless to say the smartphone will be running the latest Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 which comes with new features like Google Now on Tap, Doze and a completely redesigned app icons.
