Alcatel OneTouch will be announcing their new smartphone series, PIXI 3 at the CES. This is not the only thing that company will be showing off at the event, they will also be introducing a ‘smart price’ smartwatch, named ‘Watch’. The most exciting fact about the new series is that it will be OS-agnostic, an ‘innovative feature’ which makes the devices compatible with three OS: Firefox, Android and Windows. The details are not clear how this aspect is going to work; most probably the smartphone will come in three different versions, each running one of the OS. The reason for introducing this concept is that users gets to choose the operating system that is familiar to them and the company claims that the devices will offer them cross-device integrations with their other devices the users make use of.
Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 3 will be available in four different sizes: 3.5 inch, 4 inch, 4.5 inch and 5 inch. The 3.5-inch sized smartphone will support the 3G connectivity and the rest of the three sizes 4”,4.5” and 5” will support the 4G LTE connectivity. Looking at the image released by the company, it seems as if the PIXI 3 will be available in a variety of funky colors. The rest of the specifications have not been confirmed by the company, they will be revealing all these details at the event.
To make things more interesting at the CES, Alcatel OneTouch has announced that people visiting their booth will not only get a chance to test and check the products out but they will also be able to take part in different activities and play the Interactive Color Run. Well the company sure knows how to keep things interesting and give the visitors a heads-up for the event ahead.
