Reportedly, HTC won’t be unveiling its flagship, One M9, on the upcoming MWC 2016 starting 21st February. Although the company might be coming forward with another smartphone, the HTC A16. A well-know tech blogger, Evan Blass, just posted few renders of the A16 which show the expected design elements of the smartphone.
Apparently HTC might be revealing a rather funky and colorful device this time. The front will feature a camera for selfies along with a set of speakers to provide good audio playback experience. Coming towards the back side of the device, we can see a somewhat large camera accompanied by an LED flash. Apart from that, at the bottom left corner we see two small holes which might be used for a lanyard strap.
As far as the specifications of the A19 are concerned, there are still no reports available of what the device may be carrying under the hood. Although according to a Taiwanese website 3C talk, the A16 would cost around $150 so we shouldn’t be expecting high-end performance capabilities. Moreover, judging from the design of the smartphone, HTC A19 might be a part of HTC’s Desire series.
Coming towards the OS powering the smartphone, reports claim that it will be running Android Marshmallow. Marshmallow was released last year with numerous new goodies including a completely new app drawer, redesigned app permissions, Doze, and Google Now on Tap.
For Further updates, stay tuned.
