With the numerous leaks and rumors which came in since the last few weeks, there isn’t much left for Samsung to hide. Nevertheless, Samsung’s marketing team is still trying their best to make sure that their upcoming flagships, the all new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge receive the hype they deserve. Therefore, Samsung started ‘7 days of unboxing’ which will lead to the final unveiling of the smartphone.
Apparently the Korean manufacturer will be releasing a short teaser of their flagship every day for seven days, after which the final unveiling will follow. The first video by the company shows a young child, Tyson, who is given the opportunity to unbox the upcoming Galaxy S7 7 days before its release. Tyson is allowed to stay in a room for a period of 30 seconds in which he closely examines the device. After that, Tyson comes out and draws a portrait of whatever he saw. Needless to say, we can’t make much out of the young child’s portrayal.
The second video moves a step further and shows a Llama unboxing the Galaxy S7. Apparently this Llama is called Kuzco. Kuzco was also allowed to examine the upcoming smartphone after which it is given a canvas to portray whatever he saw inside. Although it was interesting to see a Llama trying to imitate the smartphone, unfortunately the portrayal was nowhere near what the original smartphone looks like.
Apart from the official teasers by Samsung, following is what we know about the smartphone. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be equipped with either Snapdragon 820 processor, or Exynos 8890. Moreover features like 4 GB RAM, 12MP rear camera with Britecell technology, and a more powerful battery are being anticipated. We also know that S7 and S7 edge will also feature a 5.1″ and 5.5″ Super AMOLED display respectively. A 3000mAh battery will be found inside the Galaxy S7, while a 3600mAh one will be powering the Galaxy S7 edge.

We are expecting Samsung to introduce ‘always on display’ in their upcoming Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. This feature will allow users to check for notification, battery status, missed calls or messages without even unlocking their whole device. Moreover a USB Type-C port is another feature we are expecting the smartphone to carry. USB Type-C port is a very convenient accessory owing to their size and reversibility. These ports will work regardless the way they are inserted into the device.
Last but not the least, Samsung S7 and S7 edge will definitely be announced with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. Marshmallow was released last year with numerous new goodies including a completely new app drawer, redesigned app permissions, Doze, and Google Now on Tap.
