Apple Insider claims that the upcoming iPhone SE will be unveiled with an amazing rear camera which will host the capability to record 4K videos. They further added that the company is gearing up to release a promotional video that will demonstrate a 4K footage. This particular feature is expected to be the highlight of the device which is scheduled to be released on 21st March.
This report, if true, will add another similarity of the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6s series to the list. The upcoming smartphone will be the third smartphone by Apple to feature 4K recording (the first two being the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus). Furthermore, the device is expected to host a 12MP rear camera with dual flash and the dual-core A9 chip. Both of these components can be found on the 6s series released last year.
A credible Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo supports the claim that the iPhone SE will feature a 12 megapixel rear snapper instead of the previously rumored 8 megapixel camera. Mr Kuo further speculated that the upcoming smartphone will be somewhere in between $400 to $500 and will be offering two different storage options – 16GB and 64 GB. Furthermore the device will pack a 1642 mAh battery along with Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11ac under the hood. As mentioned earler, Apple iPhone SE is expected to be powered by the same A9 chipset that is found under the hood of the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus. Despite the lack of 3D Touch, it will reportedly offer Live Photos. NFC and Apple Pay are both said to be supported, along with Touch ID.
lets talk about the 21st March event scheduled by Apple. We are expecting three major releases on the day – the 4 inch iPhone SE, Apple iPad 3 and an upgraded Apple Watch. The newer iPad will basically be targeting those customers who’d love the performance capabilities of the iPad Pro minus the 12.9″ screen size and sky-high price. Therefore the iPad 3 will be running a A9X chipset along with 4GB of RAM, feature quad-speakers while support compatibility with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. As far as the refreshed Apple Watch is concerned, reports are that the new watch might surface with Apple FaceTime support. Although iPhone SE will be carrying a 4 inch screen, there will be no compromise on its performance capabilities.
That is all for now, we will be updating you as the topic develops. Meanwhile, please checkout some renders of the upcoming iPhone SE in the slideshow below.
